1. Accepting these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of patientfiloan.com (the “Site”), published by PatientFiLoan (“we,” “us”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Who may use the Site
The Site is intended for adults located in the United States. By using it, you confirm you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.
3. What the Site is and is not
The Site provides general educational information about PatientFi and other ways to pay for medical, dental and aesthetic procedures. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by PatientFi, Inc. We are not a lender, loan broker, credit counselor or financial institution. We do not take applications for PatientFi, make credit decisions, service loans, accept payments or access anyone’s account.
4. No financial, legal or medical advice
Content on the Site is general information, not advice tailored to your situation. It is not financial, tax, legal or medical advice, and it does not create any professional relationship. Consider speaking with a qualified professional before making financial or medical decisions.
5. Loan-finder form and third parties
Some pages include a loan-finder form operated by a third-party lending network. When you use it, you deal directly with that operator and any lender it connects you with, under their terms, privacy policies and consents. We do not guarantee that you will receive offers, approval, any particular rate or term, or any result. Lenders set their own eligibility, rates and fees, and not every lender is available in every state. We may receive compensation when the form is used, as explained in our advertiser disclosure.
Links to PatientFi, regulators, review sites and other third parties are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, products or services.
6. Calculators and estimates
Our calculators and examples are for illustration only. Results depend on the numbers you enter and simplified assumptions, and may differ from what a lender charges. They are not offers of credit. Your loan agreement controls how interest, including any deferred interest, is calculated.
7. Accuracy and updates
We research content from primary sources and date our reviews, but products, rates, eligibility rules and ratings change. Information may be out of date or incomplete when you read it. Always confirm details with the company or lender before acting. To report an error, see our corrections policy.
8. Our content and trademarks
The Site’s text, design, graphics, calculators and code are owned by PatientFiLoan or its licensors and protected by copyright. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use and share links to them. You may not copy, republish, scrape or create derivative works from substantial portions of the Site without our written permission.
PatientFi, PRIVI, CareCredit, Cherry and other names are trademarks of their respective owners. We use them only to identify the products we discuss; their use does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or to submit false information to third parties
- Scrape, crawl or copy the Site in bulk, other than through standard search engine indexing
- Interfere with the Site’s security or operation, or introduce malicious code
- Present yourself as PatientFiLoan or suggest that we endorse you
10. Messages and feedback
If you send us corrections, suggestions or other feedback, you allow us to use them to improve the Site without payment or obligation to you. Please do not send account numbers or other sensitive financial information by email.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PATIENTFILOAN WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF MONEY, CREDIT STANDING OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, RELIANCE ON ITS CONTENT, OR DEALINGS WITH ANY THIRD PARTY, INCLUDING PATIENTFI AND LENDERS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some states do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold PatientFiLoan harmless from claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your state of residence requires otherwise. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and try to resolve the issue informally for at least 30 days. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court where it qualifies.
15. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a new date. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept them. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.
16. General terms
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, with the Privacy Policy and Advertiser Disclosure, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.
